Based on an anime movie from the year 2000, produced by Japanese animation giants Production IG and Aniplex and directed by Hiroyuki Kitakubo; Blood: The Last Vampire is the transposition with real actors of that cartoon for adults.
The story tells the adventures of a girl named Saya, a fundamental part of a secret government agency, who must deal with bloody vampire-monsters. that stalk the population. Saya must infiltrate a school where strange things happen and there she will hunt down these vampires. As a curiosity, part of the film was shot in the vicinity of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to try to reduce production costs.
The movie was Directed by Chris Nahon, with a joint script by Chris Chow, Kenji Kamiyama and Ronny Yu. The cast leads it Gianna Jun as the vampire slayer Saya; They follow Allison Miller, Masiela Lusha as Sharon and JJ Feild.
