I want to let you know through these lines, that “Zertarako Amestu Tour 2008” will be my last tour with BERRI TXARRAK. That's right, I have decided to leave the group at the end of these concerts, and I wanted to share this difficult decision with you, before it reaches you in other ways. Let no one look for hidden reasons because there are none. It has been 14 years playing music in the group I love the most, thousands of experiences with my colleagues and more than one dream come true. However, there comes a time when rock demands many hours and kilometers, especially if you are in a band with as much passion as BTX. For this reason, and because life has its stages, I think the time has come for me to end this and start another type of life that allows me, above all, to be close to my own.
But life goes on: I quit, but BERRI TXARRAK goes on with Aitor and Gorka. I'm sure they are going to leave us more than one memorable album yet. Good luck! I also want to welcome the person who will occupy my position in the future. To finish, I can only thank all my fellow travelers who have passed through BTX during these fourteen years and the biggest hugs for all of you who have come to our concerts.
