Next week it will go on sale 'The Birds of Satan', the debut album of the new musical project led by Taylor Hawkins, drummer of 'Foo Fighters', along with bassist Wiley Hodgden and guitarist Mick Murphy, both members of Chevy Metal. The new album, with the same name, will be released on April 15 through the Shanabelle Records label.
The band had started their promotion weeks ago by publishing an announcement on their official YouTube channel and this week, as a preview of the album, they released a stream via Soundcloud in which you can now listen to all the songs on the album. 'The Birds Of Satan' contains a total of seven songs that were recorded in Studio 606, Dave Grohl's (Foo Fighters) studio in Northridge (California, USA) in just one week.
The production of the same was in charge of John lousteau, who has previously worked with major groups such as Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Alice in Chains, and Motörhead. Also featured as guest artists were great musicians such as Dave Grohl and Pat Smear (Foo Fighters and Nirvana) and keyboardist Rami Jaffee. This latest project by Hawkins was born out of a musical initiative to pay tribute to some of the best bands of the past, such as Alice Cooper, Aerosmith and Queen.
