Last Thursday (17) the complete list of nominees for the next awards was made public MTV Video Music Awards 2014, an event that will take place on August 24 at the Inglewood Forum in Los Angeles (USA). In the 30th edition of the awards ceremony for the most outstanding videos in the music industry during the last twelve months, it was Beyoncé who led the nominations, achieving eight of them.
Behind the former Destiny's Child Beyoncé There are Eminem and rising Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, both with seven nominations. Among the figures of the year are also Ariana Grande, who is up for 3 awards with her single Problem, followed by Australian singer Sia with 3 and then there are Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Pharrell and Sam Smith, all with 2 nominations each.
In the coveted category al Video of the year Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX compete with their homage to the 90s classic Clueless, in its Fancy version; Beyoncé and Jay Z, with the dark and sensual video of Drunk in love; phenomenon Pharrell Williams competes with Happy; Sia with her hit Chandelier; and finally the video that has had the most impact in the last year, Miley Cyrus's Wrecking ball. It is speculated that Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer will perform in during the delivery.
