Ben Affleck will finally be the director of the next Batman movie solo that in principle will not arrive at least until 2020.
DC and Warner Bros. have a packed schedule through 2020 and so far no movie starring Bruce Wayne's alter ego alone had been scheduled, although you could guess since Ben Affleck has a contract for one more movie than we already know.
The rumor is confirmed of the last days that indicated that DC could be in negotiations for two-time Oscar winner Ben Affleck to take over the filming of this upcoming Batman film, in addition the director of tapes like 'Argo' also will be in charge of the script with Geoff Johns, who has been linked to many DC works, such as animation tapes or video games and who will also be in charge of the script for 'Shazam'.
