Beck Announces New 'Morning Phase' Launch In February

American singer Beck just officially announced the release date for their next studio album. This new album by the Californian musician will be called 'Morning Phase' and will go on sale during the month of February next year. 'Morning Phase' will represent the 42-year-old musician's 2008th studio album, a successor to 'Modern guilt' released in XNUMX. Beck will release this new album after signing his recent record contract with the Capitol Records label, which will be the company responsible for his next works.

According to the Capitol press release, in the new 'Morning Phase', Beck will be making a return to the hypnotic harmonies of the past, to the composition of melodies in a more spontaneous way in the search for emotional provocation from a serene perspective and an enveloping optimism. It is anticipated that it will be a kind of sequel to the 2002 album 'Sea Change'.

'Morning Phase' will feature some of the collaborators who participated in 'Sea Change' over a decade ago, including Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Joey Waronker, Smokey Hormel, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., and Jason Falkner. This new work by Beck comes after the musician was focused on various projects, on the release of several singles and the album in sheet music format 'Beck Hansen's Song Reader'.
