Javier Bardem is that it does not stop. The Oscar-winning Spanish actor will star in the upcoming film by Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, whose shooting will begin next Monday in Barcelona.
«Biutiful«, Is the name of the last of the director of 21 Grams. Biutiful is a Hispanic-Mexican co-production, the script of which has been written by Iñárritu himself and the scriptwriters Armando Bo and Nicolás Giacobone.
The story will take place entirely in Barcelona, Santa Coloma and BadalonaLocalities well known to the director, as he was there when he was working on a cargo ship.
The award-winning director says he wrote the movie with our Javier Bardem in mind:
"3 years ago I started to write a story with him in mind, a story that I decided to film in Barcelona a year, eleven months and 29 days ago, when I visited the city with my children."
We will see if Inarritu manages to reproduce the success of "Amores perros", "21 grams" and "Babel".
