More than a year has passed since the last performance of the Swedish House Mafia, at the 2013 Ultra Music Festival, with which the Swedes decided to disband the successful electronic music trio. Subsequently, each of its members continued with separate projects, although Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso continued more in contact, and in recent days they have decided to announce that together they will launch a new project as a duo under the name of Axwell & Ingrosso, with which they will soon release a new album and will make different presentations throughout the summer.
A few days ago it was Ingrosso who advanced the news from his Twitter account: Me and @axwell are finishing our first album and will release a first clip tonight. This time we will not return home ». Axwell also gave details: "Looking forward to this new project". The duo have already created a new page together on Facebook with the new project: Axwell & Ingrosso.
To celebrate the start of this new project, the British radio program Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1) began to broadcast advances of the material with the theme 'We Come We Rave We Love', composed during the last stage of Swedish House Mafia, a single that Ingrosso and Axwell later published on Soundcloud as a preview of their new songs. The new project will debut with their new music at the Governor's Ball Festival in New York this June 8 and during July and August they will continue with presentations of their project 'Departures' in Ibiza.
