"Avatar" takes 11 awards at the Saturn Awards

La film «Avatar» by James Cameron continues to make history, now because it swept the Saturn Awards, awards given by the Academy of science fiction, fantasy and terror, where it had 10 nominations and won 11 awards.

Apart from winning the awards for best science fiction film, director, screenwriter, leading actors and actresses (Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana) and supporting actresses (Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver), special effects and soundtrack (James Horner), the jury decided present a special award to James Cameron for his "visionary genius" with which he has revolutionized the concept of cinema, illuminating what is the highest-grossing film in the history of cinema.

The rest of the awards went to "Watchmen", award for best fantasy film and best costumes; "Drag Me to Hell," Best Horror Movie, and Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" won the award for Best Action Adventure Movie.
