To mark the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the movie «Avatar», the highest grossing film in history, next Wednesday, April 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m., Calle Callao in Madrid will be transformed for a day into the universe of AVATAR.
The AVATAR experience brings the Pandora jungle to Madrid's Plaza de Callao. Throughout the day, locals will be able to enjoy various free activities. Body painting sessions with David Ambit, nominated for the Goya awards for REC 2, which will transform 2-meter-tall models into Avatars. Cartoonists who will turn the public into Na'vi, the presence of Avatars in the streets of the center of Madrid… and a lot of other surprises.
This special day of AVATAR in Callao, which contains a message of defense of the environment, coincides with the 40th Anniversary of International Earth Day. Every year on that date the whole world reflects and mobilizes for a better Earth.
Director James Cameron takes audiences into a spectacular world beyond the limits of imagination, in which a hero forcibly embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery, and leads a heroic battle to save a civilization. The AVATAR BLU-RAY and DVD will go on sale worldwide on April 21.
