"Atlántico" the new album by Xoel López

Xoel Lopez

Xoel Lopez announces new album, "Atlantic" will be released on April 17 and is his twelfth album, he will do so under his real name and not under Deluxe, his battle name for many years, a project with which he reached a privileged position in Spanish pop.

Xoel defines the new job as "the deepest and most intense of my career." Recently Xoel López himself advanced a new song in his concert at the Galician Culture Awards that took place this past December 15, 2011. A work that draws on those trips that took place in the last year between the American continent, with Buenos Aires as a meeting point and our country; much more leisurely and thoughtful. Recorded between March and September 2011, it also features Juan de Dios (Deluxe, Amaral) sharing the controls of the production with the artist himself.

After your project with Deluxe, Xoel crosses the pond and begins a new stage in which he has already played several times in San Francisco and New York (USA), Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Brazil, etc ... but it is in Buenos Aires where he spends most of his time. In October 2010, he temporarily returned to Spain for a tour in which he invited about 30 musicians of different nationalities to share the stage and repertoire.

An event called "Xoel López y La Caravana Americana" that will also give title to the documentary directed by Arturo Lezcano and Xoel himself, where the adventures of this tour of Spain and part of the singer's previous adventure through the Americas are recounted. The premiere is scheduled for this 2012.
