We can already see the teaser trailer for «Astro Boy«, the animated film produced by Dreamworks that is based on the famous manga character by Osamu Tezuka.
The film will tell how Astro Boy, like in the original a robot boy rejected by his father, will go on a journey of exploration in search of acceptance of the rsto. Then he will try to save MetroCity and reconcile with his father.
Directed by David Bowers, with a script by Timothy Harris and voices by actors such as Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland y Nathan Lane, "Astroboy" will only be released in October 2009.
