Arctic Monkeys release new promo single '2013'

British group Arctic Monkeys have just released a promotional single titled '2013'. It will be the B-side of the physical version of the single. 'Do I Wanna Know?' and will not be included in the new album of the band, to be released in early September. The long-awaited fifth studio album by the Arctic Monkeys will carry the name 'AM' as confirmed last month and will be released worldwide on September 9. This album will include a total of twelve songs, of which two cuts have been released so far: the single 'RU Mine?' in February 2012 and the latest 'Do I Wanna Know?' edited on June 19.

The new album has been made by the English producer James ford (Simian Mobile Disco) and co-produced by Ross Orton (Ladyhawke, Kelis). 'AM' will also feature the special collaboration of artists such as Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), the renowned drummer Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello, Tom Waits) and Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral), who had collaborated previously with Alex Turner on the soundtrack of the film 'Submarine'.

Today Arctic Monkeys They are on an extensive European tour that will last until next fall and in which they have scheduled dates in France, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Poland and Spain, being one of the main groups of this edition of the Festival de Benicassim, in which they will perform today, Saturday, July 20.
