Last week, the Canadian band Arcade Fire confirmed via Twitter that his fourth album will be released at the end of next October. The unusual thing has been that the revelation of the news came by the mere question of a fan about this release. The last information about this album was at the beginning of this year with the announcement of the Canadian group in conjunction with the Mercury Records label, in which they confirmed that there would be a new album by Arcade Fire by the end of 2013.
In December 2012, Scott rodger, the band's manager, confirmed that the Canadians were already working in the studio with American producer James Murphy (former LCD Soundsystem leader), at Murphy's DFA Records studios, in New York City, during the first months of this year. Also in December the band made a presentation of the new material during a private concert at the Breakglass Studio in Montreal (Canada). At that time the songs were described as "Danceable and cool", with themes that have roots in the mid-XNUMXth century and with the African-American culture of the United States.
Almost a month ago it was announced that the album would probably go on sale in early September, but apparently this release would be moved to October. In those days Murphy commented on the album: "I think this is going to be a really great album, I'm excited for it to be released as soon as possible".
