Arcade Fire claims the return of Richy Reed's head

Arcade Fire Bubblehead Connecticut

A great stir has formed in the last week among the organizers of the tour of Arcade Fire in the United States, when discovering that the paper mache mask of the big-headed Richy Reed (guitarist of the group) had been stolen during the show held last Tuesday (18) in the town of Bridgeport, in Connecticut (USA). Since they released the first video clip of their new album, Reflector, the Canadian group have performed their shows using the gigantic papier-mâché heads as almost a symbol of this last stage based on the group's pseudonym 'The Reflektor'.

The band issued in recent days a statement in which it assures that they have the photos of the robbery and also the images of the thief who stole the head at the time of the robbery, and before reporting it to the police, they prefer to demand its return.

“Richy's bobblehead mask was stolen from our Bridgeport, CT show. This mask is a unique pieceas it is an essential component of our live shows. We have photos of the theft, but before filing charges we would prefer if the person who stole it contacts us for its return. We believe this is all an innocent mistake, intending to leave the place with the surrender of his oversized papier-mâché head to Richard Parry. Please contact info@quest-management.com for all information on the matter. "
