American actress Angelina Jolie received the Heart of Honor award at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
"We present the Heart of Honor to a great artist, not only for her career in the world of cinema but also for her special commitment to real life," said Mirsad Purivatra, director of the festival.
“Last year I had the opportunity to discover not only the hospitality of the people here, but also an incredible talent. In my entire career I have never worked with such disciplined and gifted artists, "said the actress when she received her award.
Attendees at the closing gala of the Sarajevo Festival are amazed to see Angelina Jolie collect her award because her attendance was not confirmed by the organization.
