Written and directed by John Ridley, the release is scheduled for 2013.
Born as Johnny Allen Hendrix, in Seattle, United States, November 27, 1942, and died in London on September 18, 1970, the guitarist and singer is considered and frequently cited by various artists and the press in general as the greatest guitarist in rock and roll history.
At age 27, Hendrix passed away from a mixture of sleeping pills and alcohol and reportedly died of aspiration of vomit.
