Ambiancé, the longest film in history

atmosphere

Within a time, The Cure for Insomnia, which is cataloged as the longest film in history, with 87 hours, will stop showing that let's say ... "honor" and that duration will remain at the height of a teleserie chapter when the Swedish multimedia artist Anders Weberg launches his latest film with Ambiancé.

This film will last no less than 720 hours and will be released on December 31, 2020, being shown only once around the world, through the Internet and in a synchronized way to later be destroyed. This has been stated to the SVT, the Swedish public television.

Weberg declared that time is something completely abstract that he has invented and since Ambiancé will be his last film he wanted to do it in a big way, with a 30-hour movie.

The artist assured that he is not at all interested in the record, although all eyes have been focused on that barbarity of duration, what is interesting to him is that the broadcast lasts a month. His madness goes further since he already distributed a 2-minute preview a month ago, in 2017 he will have a trailer of “only” 7 hours and 20 minutes and another of 72 hours in 2018.

He has declared that he has 281 hours of footage ready and assures that it is going very well, although he does not want to waste time and have it ready for that special moment. Finally, he declared that the film is of an expressionist style and autobiographical in nature.
