After almost two decades Boy George returns with 'King of Everything'

Boy George, one of the most notable figures of English pop of the eighties, has just presented the video for the single 'King Of Everything', the first track from his new album 'This is What I Do', which It will be released on October 28 through the Very Me Records label. During the last weeks of August George announced the release of his new album, his first in eighteen years as a soloist. In September, the former Culture Club vocalist shared 'King of Everything', presenting it as a premiere in the music section of the popular British newspaper 'The Guardian'.

Boy George He has worked on the production of this new album together with his usual collaborators John Themis, Kevan Frost and Richie Stevens (Soul II Soul, Tina Turner, Simply Red, Culture Club) and it was recorded entirely in the Cowshed studios From london. Also among the special collaborators is the famous producer and songwriter Youth and the legendary eighties producer Dave Bascombe (The Human League, Tears For Fears, Erasure, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode).

The video for this new single has been directed by Mike nichols in different locations in the city of London and, as the song tells, summarizes the story of a defeated boxer and his disappointed wife, an autobiographical account according to Boy George himself.
