Australians get back to work on new songs

The Australians AC/DC They are working on their new studio album, according to guitarist Malcolm Young. The band is writing new songs and while vocalist Brian Johnson said the album could be released in 2013, Young was more cautious in stating that the singer was "too optimistic" about the date.

"We all know what Brian is like ... he likes to say things like that and then he leaves (laughs) ... I think that in one or two years we can release a new album, we don't know, we're doing stomping but we all have to get together."

Malcom also affirmed that the band "is working", but that he spent a lot of time between 'Stiff Upper Lip' and 'Black Ice', their last works, so they need time to recover.

Recall that AC/DC edited his DVD last year 'Live at river plate', a concert given in Argentina in December 2009 in three nights at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, previously almost 200 thousand people in total. The material will be released in May and was filmed with 32 cameras in High Definition. In total 19 songs and a lot of backstage are included. The DVD was directed by David Mallet, who has filmed the Australian group's shows for the past 25 years.
