El remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street every time I like it less. What a mania Hollywood has for smashing all the classics to make money!
This remake is produced by Michael Bay (director of Transformers) and will have a larger budget for visual effects than the pioneer but will lack any originality. What's more, some scenes are mere verbatim copies of Wes Craven's original.
Freddy Krueger will be played by Jackie Earle Haley instead of Robert englund, who will always be remembered for this role.
The premiere of the new version of Freddy Krueger is scheduled for next April.
