OLPC (One Laptop Per Child), a charitable promotion that pursues guarantee internet access to children residing in developing countries, has launched a commercial in which you can see a kind of 'john lennondigital'talking about it.
After obtaining authorization from his widow, Yoko Ono, the clip presents the ex-Beatle saying with a very strange voice:
"Imagine if all children, no matter where they are, could access a whole universe of knowledge ... they would have the possibility to learn, to dream, to achieve whatever they want ... I tried to do it with my music, but now you can do it in a very different way".
While you listen to him, pixels of all colors go 'bombing'the screen until they form their image. Next, it says:
"You can give a laptop to a child and more than imagining it, you can change the world".
If I was alive, surely Lennon I would have been more committed to bringing a message of peace to infants, rather than a laptop ...
