One of the objectives of good film festivals and awards is to publicize the cinematography of countries with little production or little diffusion. This is the case, for example, of the Dominican Republic.
In the next installment of the Goya awards in Spain, the Dominican film "Yuniol" will be shown. The Spanish meeting will be held in February, according to the Spanish and Dominican media.
Directed by Alfonso Rodríguez, the film that will represent that country tells a social drama in that republic of the Caribbean. Initial production was just over $ 1.5 million, a not inconsiderable figure for the numbers that are handled there.
