Vampire Weekend releases wacky video for 'Diane Young'

The latest Vampire Weekend video recreates his own wacky version of the Last Supper, summoning an entourage of celebrated guests including cameos from celebrities like Santigold, the duo Chromeo, Dave Longstreth from Dirty Projectors, American singer Sky Ferreira, and Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen.

This fun and imaginative video was directed by Primo Khan, who knew how to capture a work loaded with references and semi-static images, breaking the natural acceleration that moves them on a more colorful and pop base, which mark the spirit of this entire album of the Vampire Weekend.

This video is a second version made for the single 'Diane Young', which was released in mid-March and which at that time was released with another video where another clip of arson character was shown, where a number of burning cars were shown in slow motion: something totally different from this new version. 'Modern Vampires of the City' It was released on May 14, debuting at number one on the North American Billboard 200 chart, making this new album his second album to reach the top of this prestigious rating.
