Ugly kid joe is an American hard rock group formed in 1989 in Isla Vista, California. The name of the band is a parody of the glam band Pretty Boy Floyd. The band made a name for themselves in the early '90s with their mix of satire and hardrock / metal and toured the United States extensively, the second of which was opening act for Ozzy Osbourne.
