Last week, the American band Van Halen confirmed the release of 'Tokio Dome Live in Concert', a new live album which they have defined as "His definitive live album". 'Tokyo Dome Live in Concert' was recorded on June 21, 2013 at the Tokyo Dome in the Japanese capital, during the Japanese leg of the presentation tour of his album 'A Different Kind of Truth' in 2012.

This album marked the return of the vocalist David Lee Roth almost three decades later, as Van Halen's original vocalist had not recorded a full new album with the rest of the band since the successful 1984 (from 1984). Tokyo Dome Live in Concert is made up of a total of 23 songs from the seven albums that the band recorded together with David Lee Roth.
