Here we have the trailer for the new movie of Thomas vinterberg "Far From the Madding Crowd."
After great successes such as "Festen" ("Celebration"), "Submarino" or "Jagten" ("The hunt"), the Danish director returns with a period film.
«Far From the Madding CrowdIt is about a portrait of a Victorian heroine who knows how difficult it is for a woman to define her feelings in a language created primarily by men to express their own. With a strong and independent character, this young woman, owner of the largest farm in her town, is in a position to choose between the three suitors that haunt her. Said suitors are Gabriel Oak, sheep farmer; Frank Troy, a handsome and brash sergeant; and William Boldwood (Sheen), a mature and prosperous bachelor.
The film stars the Oscar nominee for "An Education" Carey Mulligan, Michael Sheen, whom we saw in Frost vs Nixon »as David Frost, Tom sturridge, seen in "On the Road" and Matthias Schoenaerts, which we will see shortly in «Suite Française».
"Far From the Madding Crowd" will hit theaters in the United States in May this year, while Spain will not do so until two months later, in July, although it could have lent in the Cannes film festival.
