First trailer to share for "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", adaptation of the novel written by Stephen Chbosky that will be released in September. The film stars Logan Lerman and Emma Watson. The story here begins in August 1991, where Charlie (Lerman), a high school freshman, grapples with mental problems while trying to find a group of people to belong to.
Then he is introduced to the world of sex and drugs through his new friends, Patrick and Sam, his stepsister; Charlie falls in love with Sam, but the age difference is an impediment. In the book you can see Charlie's psychological disorders, possibly due to the suicide of his best and only friend and the death of his aunt Helen.
«The Perks of Being a Wallflower»(The Advantages of Being an Outcast) is also adapted and directed by Stephen Chbosky himself and its US premiere will be on September 14.
