The renowned director Pedro Almodóvar concluded the filming of his nineteenth film this week, whose filming began on July 9. Agustín Almodóvar, the brother of the director and producer of his films, announced yesterday on the social network Twitter that the filming had ended, as it has been doing in recent months, in which he has also used the famous social network to report on the signings, previews, etc, of the new movie, 'Passenger Lovers'.
Pedro Almodóvar defined this new project as «a choral and spicy comedy«, And his brother Agustín said that« it is a witty comedy, with a lot of fun and a lot of transgression too. 'Women on the edge ...' was a white comedy and this one will be spicier and until next time ».
Almodóvar has once again had his usual technical team, like Luis Alcaine at the command of the lights, Alberto Iglesias composing the music, or Pepe Salcedo as editor, in this one that is presented as the return to crazy comedy by the La Mancha director.
After two months of filming, the film now enters the post-production phase, with its scheduled release for spring 2013.
In this production, Almodóvar has had an exceptional cast, including Hugo Silva, Javier Cámara, Cecilia Roth, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, José Luis Torrijo, Lola Dueñas, Raúl Arévalo, Guillermo Toledo, Carlos Areces, Antonio de la Torre, Blanca Suárez or Carmen Machi.
