The actress of Miss Sympathy and the Oscar winner for her performance in Misery, meet in this production of Warner Bros. Pictures, based on true story of Michael Oher, a low-income teenager who finds an alternative to street violence in sports and in public school.
The film focuses on the life of the aforementioned oher, son of a drug addicted mother and fatherless, who takes refuge in the American football team. Already part of the group, a wealthy woman (Bullock) will help him overcome his past, in addition to preparing him physically and academically.
They accompany Bullock and Bates; Tim McGraw, as Bullock's partner, Quinton Aaron, as young Michael, and Lily Collins and Jae Head.
John Lee Hancock directs this biographical drama, released in the United States this week.
