Tenerife will host the filming of the fifth installment of the 'Bourne' saga

Bourne

Tenerife has been the place chosen to carry out a large part of the filming of the fifth installment of the 'Bourne' saga.

Not all of the film's production will take place on the Spanish island, although the team will be entertained in our lands for up to five weeks.

The filming of 'Bourne 5' on Spanish soil will be considered the largest filming on urban soil in Spain. Some 600 technicians and 400 technicians will be involved in this production that will completely alter life in the city from this next September.

Generous tax breaks, completely different from the rest of the Spanish state, make the Canary Islands have hosted the filming of several foreign productions, something that on the other hand should be expanded to all of Spain based on providing low budgets to all kinds of productions, for example series such as 'Game of Thrones' ('Game of Thrones') that have been in Andalusian lands in their last season and that they will also be in Catalan lands in the next one.

At the moment there is another filming that is going to take place on Spanish soil, that of a new installment of the 'Bourne' saga, which will mean the return of two of its great bastions that were not in the last film of the franchise, director Paul Greengrass and actor Matt Damon.
