Another of this Friday's premieres that is expected to do well at the box office is the American comedy Super smoked with Seth Rogen (embarrassing mess) and James Franco (the son of the Green Goblin in Spiderman) as the main couple.
The film tells the story of Dale Denton (Seth Rogen), whose job it is to serve legal subpoenas, buys marijuana from a drug dealer named Saul (James Franco) because he sells him a new type of weed called "Pineapple Express" in honor to an atmospheric phenomenon. Saul wants to befriend Dale, but Dale is only interested in business. Coincidentally, Dale witnesses a murder committed by a corrupt police officer, Carol Butler (Rosie Perez), and by the leader of a gang, Ted Jones (Gary Cole). Some of Saul's weed is accidentally left at the crime scene and they both have to flee from the gang of criminals and law enforcement officers.
