Is the spanish movie of the moment, it is titled Sqm 5 and it is a clear reflection of the current situation in our country. The next one will be released November 11th although it can be seen at the 56th edition of Seminci, the Valladolid film festival.
It has swept the Malaga Festival and this film by Max Lemcke tells the story of Alex and Virginia, starring Fernando Tejero and Malena Alterio, the tandem that will remind us of that atypical couple from Here there is no one who lives.
They both buy a home with sea views, a pool and everything they need to enjoy life, but they do so when it is not yet built. Both will see how little by little and after having left a fortune, how their dreams go away although always trying to come up with something crazy to get their money back at least.
This film tells us about that endemic disease that we suffer in Spain, that of families who leave their life savings to have a home and that entrepreneurs, builders, real estate agents or intermediaries keep the money and shatter the dream of families.
