Spanish cinema triumphs at the Seville Film Festival

Spanish cinema has been the great winner of the 12th edition of the Seville Film Festival and is that the main award has been for 'The Academy of the Muses' by José Luís Guerín.

For the first time in the otherwise short history of the film competition, the award for best film, the Giraldillo de Oro, has gone to a Spanish film.

This film has been the only winner of the official section, but others have been the big winners in other sections, such as lhe co-production between Spain and Mexico of Enrique Rivero 'Pozoamargo' that won the award for the best film in the section Las nueva waves o 'Transeúntes' by Luis Aller that wins the main award in the Resistances section.
