Spanish box office, the boy in the pajamas clings to No. 1

The data from last weekend at the box office in Spain leave us with the same No. 1 from last week, which is none other than the film adaptation of the best seller The Boy with the Striped Pajamas and already accumulates 4,5 million euros.

As for the premieres, the one with the best debut is Asesinato Justo with the duo Roberto de Niro and Al Pacino followed by the well-promoted Reflejos, a horror film with Kiefer Sutherland. Both of them barely exceed one million euros in collection.

The death race, another of the premieres, comes in fourth position with just over € 800.000 of collection.

The three Spanish premieres of the week have bad luck at the box office. The failure of Shot in the head was already known because it is not a commercial film and has only been released with 16 copies. What I did not expect is that Garci's blockbuster, Sangre de Mayo, debuted in eighth position with just over € 220.00 in revenue. And, even less, I expected that You do not ask me to kiss you because I will kiss you sank at the box office on its first weekend despite being released with 90 copies.

The only joy for Spanish cinema is that Vicky Cristina Barcelona continues to add millions, accumulating almost 6 million euros in fifth position.

Ben Stiller's comedy, Tropic Thunder, is going to have little success in our country because it will surely disappear from the most watched next week, just like Vin Diesel's Babylon, which is in seventh position.
