The only albino gorilla in the world, Snowflake, which we were able to enjoy in Spain when we were at the Barcelona Zoo, will continue to encourage his legend thanks to an animated film that will be made about him under an agreement between the Barcelona City Council and Filmax.
This film will be made seven years after his death and without leaving any offspring with the same color despite having more than twenty children and that the veterinarians of the Barcelona Zoo will try in every possible way.
The film will tell the adventures of Snowflake at the Zoo with other animal companions and its premiere is scheduled for winter 2010.
In addition, it seems, there will also be a cartoon television series with Snowflake as the protagonist since it will tell the adventures of this one traveling around the world and helping other animals. The series will have ecological, pedagogical and educational content.
The idea is good and it will help us not to forget this peculiar animal that dazzled millions of tourists. Let's hope the film and series pay a well-deserved tribute to Snowflake.
