That of the Rolling Stones be old is a crude urban legend. What happens to the Rolling is that they like to celebrate years on stage, just like that, for the mere collection itself. After all these decades full of rock, of their rock, the Rolling Stones are still a real bomb on stage today.
In addition, the band is celebrating for the 50th anniversary of their hit single '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction', which was originally published on June 6, 1965 in the United States and on August 20 in the United Kingdom. 'Satisfaction' was recorded at RCA Studios in Hollywood and was produced by Adrew Loog Oldman, reaching No. 1 on both sides of the Atlantic. The American edition of the single had on the B side the song 'The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man' and, the British, came with 'The Spider and the Fly'.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of 'Satisfaction', the Rolling Stones will release a reissue of the 12-inch, 180-gram vinyl single, titled '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction: 50th Anniversary 12-Inch Vinyl Single', in which, in addition to the single in question, the two B-sides of the original American and British editions will be included: 'The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man' and 'The Spider and the Fly'. This reissue of 'Satisfaction' by the Rolling Stones will go on sale next July 10.
