The Spanish box office has only had one name this weekend, and that is the new animated film titled UP, a new jewel of cinema with capital letters that has raised 4,64 million euros over the weekend, which, if we add Thursday's collection to it, makes a total of 5,57 million euros.

The second place is for the previous Nº1, the action movie Pelham Train Robbery 1 2 3, with Denzel Wanhington and John Travolta, who only lost 30% of collection with 1 million euros that added to the previous week make a total of 3,3 million.

In third position we find another premiere, the new horror film by director Sam Raimi, entitled Drag Me to Hell, which achieves € 920.000. It is clear that horror films are very popular with the public.

Fourth place is for Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe that loses steam in its third week and adds 12 million euros. At this rate it will be the lowest grossing Potter film of all in our country.

The fifth place is for Ice age 3 which, in its fifth week, loses 53% of its collection because the arrival of UP has taken away all the rooms in 3D but it already accumulates 19,6 million euros and is confirmed as the highest grossing Spanish film of this year.

The other premiere that has managed to get among the most viewed has been the youth comedy Sex Drive but with a poor collection of € 230.000.

Finally, highlight the resistance that the film is having Millennium II, which in the tenth week in theaters, manages to increase its collection by 1% compared to the previous week, in the eighth position, and already accumulates 7,7 million euros. This Swedish trilogy is going to be quite a business because the film only cost 12 million euros to make.
