Pirates of the Caribbean 5 with Paul McCartney

pirates caribbean 5

Five years after the last installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, and with great expectations about the next film, whose title could be “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales ", directors and producer, Joachim Rønning, Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki) and Jerry Bruckheimer, have released the latest addition to the cast: Paul McCartney.

Everything indicates that the former Beatle will shoot an extra scene, following in the wake of another mythical musician, the Rolling guitarist Keith Richards, who put a face to Jack Sparrow's father in the last two installments. Depp himself has recognized the great influence of this character when it comes to playing Sparrow. The release date in the United States of this continuation of the Pirates is scheduled for 26 May 2017.

As for the rest of the cast, the film will have Johnny Depp playing Captain Jack Sparrow, Kaya Scodelario, Geoffrey Rush again as Barbossa, Javier Bardem playing the villain, Captain Salazar, and the long-awaited return of Orlando Bloom as Will Turner.

At the moment no more details are known about McCartney's intervention in the film. Remember that the Pirates of the Caribbean saga is one of the most successful of the Disney factory with a total collection that exceeds 3.600 million dollars on screens around the world.

In this fifth installment, Jack Sparrow will face with his usual skill and sagacity a group of Pirate specters, headed by one of the great terrors of the sea, the fearsome Captain Salazar, a character played by Javier Bardem, a pirate who has just escaped from the Bermuda Triangle.

In order to make it out alive, Sparrow will have to find the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a device that gives whoever owns it control of seas and oceans throughout the planet.
