Trailer for «Pink and Black», directed by Gérard Jugnot

This Friday the French and Spanish co-production opens "Pink and black", written, directed and starring Gérard Jugnot ("The Boys in the Choir").

Of the cast, the Spanish participation of actor Juan Diego stands out.

The story tries to be a criticism of homophobia and intolerance, for this it places us in 1577, where the couturier Pic Saint Loup travels to Spain with the order to design a sumptuous suit for Henry III for the wedding between his nephew and the daughter of a Spanish nobleman. Saint Loup is used to filling the lives of his clients with rosy colors, but his joy and peculiar style contrast with the intolerance of an ultra-Catholic country that persecutes the different. Everything gets complicated when the tailor, and his showy assistants, arrive at the house of the bride's father: the Grand Inquisitor of Seville.
