Nirvana and Kiss will be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2014

Among the mythical stars of music that will make their entry next year will include for the first time the legendary groups Nirvana and Kiss. The official presentation of these new additions to the American museum will take place at the annual ceremony of this institution, in its 29th edition this year, and which will take place on April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (New York, USA). ).

Completing this list of honorees are British singers and songwriters Peter Gabriel and Cat Stevens, folk-pop artist Linda Ronstadt and the rock and soul duo Hall and Oates, leading figures in contemporary music chosen from among sixteen nominees. Bruce Springsteen's celebrated E Street band will also receive the Award for Musical Excellence, while the distinguished Ahmet Ertegun Award will be awarded this year to the prolific careers of the legendary managers of the Beatles and Rolling Stones, namely the historical Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham.
