New 'bizarre' album by the Beastie Boys in the spotlight

Beastie Boys

Something that is also public knowledge is that this New York group is working on what will be its eighth disc under study, the same one that has been described as'very bizarre' by themselves.

The band would be giving the final touches to the continuation of the instrumental The Mix Up (2007), which at the moment bears the title of Tadlock's Glasses.
Speaking for an English network, Adam Yauch, one of its founders, said the following about the upcoming material:

"It is a combination of prerecorded sounds mixed with instruments played live… something very dark, very bizarre, has come out for us. Now we are finishing some mixes and we will be recording for the next two weeks.
There are many songs on the album, most of them very short, that are played one after another.
