The Canadian Nelly Furtado has launched a new song called «Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)«, Which will be included in his next studio album 'The Spirit Indestructible', scheduled for June. The producer of the song was Rodney Jenkins (Mary J. Blige, Black Eyed Peas). This is Nelly's first album in English since 'Loose' 2006, after having recorded 'Mi Plan' in Spanish in 2009.
"I adore singing in Spanish, it was an opportunity to express my Latin soul, I am very excited with the result," said Nelly when presenting 'Mi Plan' at the time.
Now, about his new album -which was originally going to be called 'Lifestyle'- said:
«I started writing these songs right at the moment when I released my album in Spanish 'Mi Plan'… 'The Indestructible Spirit' represents all the positive, the youthful, the good energy and the inexorable that the spirit harbors, and I want people to live this music the way I wrote it, because I want to see you dance, scream, jump, cry, laugh, love and vibrate ».
Recall that Nelly Furtado, Canadian with Portuguese origins, began his career in 2002 with 'Whoa, Nelly', distinguished with a Grammy Award for the single "I'm Like a Bird."
