On which group inspired him in his beginnings, he remarked that it was the New York Dolls:
«I discovered them reading about them, their photographs excited me and their name surprised me because the word doll (doll) is feminine (the group was exclusively made up of men). Everything about them seemed strong and very funny. His contemporaries, David Bowie and Roxy Music, were never harsh or fun. The Dolls were cold-blooded.
