The Argentine pop group was invited by Mexican singer and songwriter Julieta VenegaTo participate in the recording of his next album. The result of said meeting will be known the first quarter of 2010, when the CD comes out it will finally be put on sale.
No official name (some claim it will be titled JV10), the new material will follow the mark that made the Mexican artist known: indie pop sound, intimate lyrics and the recognizable voice of Venegas in the foreground. As a preview, the vocalist wrote on her MySpace: «I was working on the songs for the most part in absolute confinement, and now we are only replacing what has to be played well, and leaving what works, so it's going to be an album with a lot of home work ».
Born and raised in the Mexican city of Tijuana, Julieta Venegas garnered an important and not inconsiderable number of followers throughout Latin America, and also achieved critical recognition, by being awarded with several Latin Grammy Awards.
Going back to the new job, the production was in charge of Cachorro López, who has already worked with musicians of the stature of Rosario Flores, Andrés Calamaro and Álex Ubago.
