The Californian heavy metal band Metallica published during the last week the trailer of his new movie 'Through The Never', especially shot in 3D. The film mixes fiction and show, showing concerts by the group and telling a story in which actor Dane DeHaan (Chronicle, TrueBlood) impersonates a member of the Metallica tour staff who receives a special commission to carry out an important mission during the band's tour. The film takes images of a series of concerts held in the city of Vancouver (Canada) during the month of August 2012.
'Through The Never' was written and directed by the Hungarian filmmaker nimrod antal, who made the film 'Predators' in 2010. Bob Berney, president of the distributor Picturehouse, commented to the press: “Nim and the band have worked on a film that really captures the spirit of the band and their legion of loyal fans. It's a very entertaining genre, with a concert in between and a successful performance by Dehaan. "
'Metallica - Through The Never' will premiere in Los IMAX 3D theaters in the United States on September 27 and then on October 4 it will make the leap to the rest of the rooms. The US production company has not yet defined a release date in the rest of the world, although it is estimated that it will be published directly on DVD and Blu Ray in 2014 in Europe.
