Mel C does not agree at all with the music business in general and criticized Rihanna by 'sexist. In an interview with the newspaper "Daily Mirror", Mel C stated that «People have to be responsible because we are at a point where the sexualization of the little ones has gone too far«.
And he added that «I think music has been largely to blame. The singers have become extremely sexual and have very young fans. It's inappropriate… Rihanna has a responsibility and although the music culture is constantly changing, this change has gone too far. We have to protect our children from that«.
Although to soften, he said that «I love Rihanna, I think she is a brilliant artist, with great songs… but she is not a mother. Maybe when it is, it feels different«.
