The synopsis of the Mediterranean Diet is as follows:
Sofía (Olivia Molina) is born prematurely in a barbershop, surrounded by men who need a haircut on the same day in June 1968 that Bob Kennedy is assassinated. For fifteen years, Sofía grew up among the stoves and tables in her parents' eating house. A hard-working, ambitious and unpredictable woman, she soon falls in love with two men: with Toni (Paco León), the son-in-law that every mother would like to have, she marries and has three children; with Frank (Alfonso Bassave), the representative that every artist would like to have, he discovers the secret of haute cuisine.
