Matt Damon turns his back on the fourth installment of Bourne

Bad news for fans of the action saga of Bourne, given that it is very close to disappearing or at least not counting on the much vaunted quarter. During the past week the director Paul Greengrass He declared that he had no intention of shooting, at least for the moment, more films of the popular character. And now it's been his own Matt Damon who supposedly has put an end to this matter.

Since the production of this saga they have always maintained the premise that without Matt Damon the fourth part could not be done and now, at least for the moment, the closing of the saga is closer than ever.

Meanwhile Damon has declared in one of the promotional meetings of his latest film, directed by Clint Eastwood and where it shares paper with Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela, his intention to abandon his character, something that Bourne fans will not like.

Now the hot potato is in the hands of the studio so that it makes the decision to continue the project with a new director and protagonist for the Bourne quarter, something that at first seems really complicated and that may lead the studio to put the saga aside and continue with other projects.
