Marianne Faithfull adds Nick Cave and Roger Water on her new album

Celebrating her 50th anniversary in the world of music, the British singer Marianne faithfull has just announced that it will release a new album next fall (boreal) that will feature luxurious collaborations from notable figures such as Nick Cave and Roger Waters. The legendary 67-year-old singer and actress announced that the new album will be called 'Give My Love to London' making a heartfelt tribute to her city.

The new album will be number 21 on his discography and will go on sale next September, and will be produced by Rob Ellis and Dimitri Tikovoi and mixed by the mythical Flood (Depeche Mode, Erasure…). It was also announced that Faithfull's new work will feature the collaboration of important musicians such as Ellis and Tikovi, Adrian Utley from Portishead and Ed Harcourt, in addition to having as special guests Warren Ellis and Jim Sclavunos from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

The British singer also pointed out that part of the lyrics of the songs have been composed by herself, while the music has been in charge of important figures such as Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, Nick Cave, Anna Calvi, Steve Earle, Pat Leonard and Tom McRae. The new album will be promoted through a new musical tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his career with his followers.
